Today..I am just going to ask you to simply pray through out the day.

I had this on my FB page yesterday..”Simply Pray”. So please do so. Ask God to cover you, your family, your health, your finances, and your career with his protection.

Pray that the Lord fills you with his Spirit, his love, and his grace.

Pray that the Lord guides your steps, your choices, and what you are to do.

Pray God gives you clarity with what concerns and worries you.

Pray that the Lord changes you from the inside out. Being transformed by the renewing of your mind and heart.

Pray God becomes your # 1 priority and that he has complete Lordship and authority in your life.

Pray that God’s Word grows strong and deep roots in your life…may God’s Word bring you to life.

Pray God gives you passion for others, and teaches you how to love people….

Pray God uses you to change the lives around you.

And I will pray the same things for you…pray in the Spirit, walk in the Spirit…let go of the sinful nature and walk anew in the Spirit..may you bear the Fruits of the Spirit in your life.

God has his reasons why he is having you go through all you are going through. So stick close to him.

God has his reasons why he wants you to do certain things in your life, even though you don’t know the reason why. Just do what he asks you to do.

God has his reasons why he wants you share a word or two with a person. So don’t be afraid to share what is being told. Just say it.

God has his reasons why he wants you to take steps of faith. So don’t be afraid if he has not revealed the entire plan to your heart. Just take one step at  a time.

God has his reasons why he gives you promises, visions, dreams and hopes. It may not be clear why the vision has come, but hold on to it..and see how God has the dreams come true in your life.

God has his reasons why he allows certain people in your life. And he has his reasons when he takes a person out of your life. When God brings a person in and takes a person out..consider the blessing of knowing them and what you learned from them.

God has his reasons when he pours out his favor, and grace into our lives. It gives us strength for the journey that we are not alone.

God has his reasons when we face trials, persecution, and hardships. They are to strengthen our faith and deepen our relationship in him.

God has his reasons for all things that come in to our lives, bad or good, God brings them into our lives to teach us a lesson or two. To make us the man and woman he called us to be.

So don’t question why you are going through something, or you are be called to do something..God has his reasons and in time when he sees you are ready for the “reason” he will fill you in on what he is doing.

So trust in the Lord, he has reasons beyond our understanding, but all that is put in our lives are to make us more like God and be an example of Christ to those around us.

Trust, believe, walk in faith, and know God has his reasons.

Believe. When the world crashes in on you, and you are overwelmed with your circumstances. Simply Believe that God has a purpose for all.

Believe. When you have no sense of direction, when you don’t know what you are called to do in life. Simply Believe that God has a plan in place for you in your life.

Believe. When you think you are of no significance or value. When you feel sorry for yourself, and feel all alone. Simply Believe that God is with you, he loves you, he values you..and you are not alone.

Believe. When people walk away from having a relationship with you, and your trust is being shaken. When the wounds go deep..and it feels like your heart is completely broken. Simply Believe in God, that he loves you and he is paving the way for something better in your life.

Believe. When you have no job, no source of income, and you don’t know how you are going to have your basic needs taken care of. Simply Believe in God, that he will provide for you and your basic needs to survive.

Believe. When you are losing your home, the bills are building up, and you may not be able to pay your bills. Believe in God, surrender all to God, ask God to guide you through..and just believe.

Believe. When your health is being impacted and the medical profession says your outlook or the outlook of someone you love does not look too good. Believe in God that he is going to use the health condition to reveal greater things to come, and that death is not the end for those who believe. It is the beginning.

Believe. When someone you love passes away, and you feel seperated and isolated. Simply Believe in God that your loved one is waiting for you on the other side. Believe he or she is in a better place, and is with God. 

Believe. Just believe. Believe in yourself what God wants to do through you. Believe that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

Don’t give up on the dreams God has given you. Don’t give up on the promises you have in Christ. Don’t give up, simply believe. Believe even when it is the darkest time in your life. Believe in the best of times. Just believe in God, hold onto your faith. Draw near to God in all seasons and in due time you will be raised up in Christ.

Just believe that greater things are yet to come, and God loves you so much, that he does not want to keep you where you are at. He wants to move you forward into your destiny, calling and purpose.

Just believe in the impossible, God makes the impossible possible, simply believe and walk and live in faith.

I had written on my FB page to “Just listen” and I think that it is worth writing about in a blog entry today as well.

Have you ever noticed how quick we are to hear what we want to hear..but we spend little time with listening to what has been said and seeking the Lord’s will.

We can read God’s word, do our daily devotion, look at what our scripture verse for the day..and just go on with our day. Not even thinking about what we just read and how it pertains to us personally. We just go on with our day, completely forgetting what was said.

I think it is important to ask the Holy Spirit to guide your quiet time with the Lord, that your heart be open to receive, and that your spiritual eyes to be made open to what the Scriptures are saying. If you don’t stop..to listen..you will never know exactly what God wants you to do or say today. Your plans will be a bit more frazzled and all over the place if you don’t stop to listen to what the Lord is sharing with you in your quiet time with him.

In addition, not just in reading God’s word, but even in our prayers to God. We can pray, talk, talk, talk, and talk..give God all our worries, thankfulness, and praise..we can pray that we want to know his will in our lives, yet once we stop talking..we don’t stop to listen for God’s answers. We just go on with our days..and forget we even prayed for him to reveal to us, to our hearts what his perfect plan is for our lives. So just be still..wait on him..let him speak to you.

Sometimes, we can read God’s word, have our quiet time in prayer..and we can get a message from God..and instead of waiting on God to reveal what he means to us..we just get up and go on with our day. Sometimes we don’t want to know what the message means..sometimes we want our way more than what God is saying is his will..Yet. It is important to listen to the message and receive what God is sharing with us. It can save us alot of stress, worry and headache/heartache if we just wait on God, listen, receive and accept the message he shares.

So whether you don’t make time for God at all by reading God’s word and be in prayer, or if you do spend time with God but don’t pay attention, or if you simply hear only what you want to hear..and not listen. I think that it is important you just stop. And be still and start listening to what God is sharing with you through his scriptures, and in your prayer time.

And remember, if you don’t like the message God is giving you, the message is being given because God loves you so much..that he does not want anything but the best for you and that the message is to shape you into being the person God has called you to be.

Each message is given out of love, for your best interest and the best interests of those you are in contact with. So take time to just listen..and don’t do anything until you understand..and accept what is being shared.

God can use several different ways to make sure you receive the message he shared in your quiet time through out your day. So don’t be shocked if God uses people, situations, articles, etc to get the message to you in a way that you really listen and receive the truth.

Just wait on him and listen..he loves you so much, and he is with you to guide & direct your path,

Today, I want you to think about the word “Grace” and what it means to you in your life.

Grace is defined as divined favor and protection in the Webster Dictionary. In the Christian faith we break it down as getting something we did not deserve. And the way, I look at the word Grace it is a free gift and favor from God. Meaning, God giving me something just because he loves me and for no other reason. I don’t have to pay him back. Just a blessing given.  

We associate Grace with the Gospel and accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We see Grace as God forgiving us of our sins and clearing the debt and judgement we would have if the sins were accounted for. Grace is when we accept Jesus into our Hearts and ask God to forgive us and we repent..we are a clear slate. God forgives us with no questions asked..and we receive fellowship with Christ, sonship into God’s family, and we receive Eternal life. This is Grace.

But in our day to day lives, how does Grace, God’s divine favor and protection play out?  I think the way it plays out is, that we now have the Holy Spirit living in us, the Power of Christ dwelling in our hearts..and with that..we have freedom and peace with God, and protection from any trials we face. Divine protection keeps us from going down into the life of sin..we experience conviction, divine protection, gives us access to God’s provision where he will always provide for our daily needs. Our Spiritual needs will always be met.  Grace, God’s favor is opens doors of opportunity for us to be a blessing in people’s lives, it allows us to go places to make a difference in the world. Grace is also the countless blessings you receive daily in your life. It might be..a wonderful wife or husband, healthy kids, good health, academics, food, shelter, or the region of the country  God allows you to live.

Grace can also be the gifts and talents God has given you. You did not ask for the gifts and talents you have been given, you bestowed with them by God. You can’t take credit for them, they are God’s gifts to you. It is Grace that turns those Gifts and Talents as ways to reach others..and to make a difference in people’s lives. Grace opens the doors for the gifts to be used to reveal God’s love to world around you.

Grace is God’s favor, and it is something we know we can not take credit for. When God allows us to be blessed with a great job, a creative talent, or be able to acheive great accomplishments in the fields he places us in, that is Grace, God’s favor. It has nothing to do with “Good Luck” but just God’s favor and grace. God knew you would use the opportunity, talents and gifts to further his kindgom.

I hope I am making sense, I am a bit tired, too much sugar due to all the Halloween treats. But what I want you to think about is that every blessing you have in your life, is Grace in reality. You didn’t do anything to deserve the blessing..God gave it to you as a gift because he loves you and he knows you will you take care of the blessing and cherish it.

SO cherish Grace, the blessings, God’s protection over your life, the gifts and talents you have, surrender them to God..and ask God to fill each gift and talent with his presence, power and grace..so that you can be a blessing to those God puts in your path.

Give all you have to God ask God to fill each with his divine power, protection and favor..don’t take credit for anything God does in your life..boast about the Lord and how he used all in your life to point people to the cross.

May God’s Grace and Peace abound in your life..and fuel you to share God’s love with others.

Heavenly Father,

I come before you and just ask that you meet each reader of this post where they are at. Some of them are trying to find you in the midst of their busy schedules. Some of them are worried about what tomorrow may hold. Many of them are in need of just knowing what your will is in their lives. I ask that you fill them with your Holy Spirit.

I pray your Holy Spirit simply guides their thoughts, feelings, words, and actions. May they experience your presence in a deeper and richer way as your Holy Spirit guides them. I just pray that they become more sensitive to your presence and the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

Father God, I do not know the reasons for all that you do in our lives. Why you allow blessings at times we do not expect them..and give us trials when we think we will  not be able to make it through. But you create all our seasons..the good times and the hard times. You allow us all to go through experiences for your greater purpose in our lives. So God give each reader a sense of comfort that you are going to turn everything around for you good and glory.

I pray that no one takes for granted the gifts and blessings you provide in their lives. I pray they appreciate and give you thanks for all you provide every day. May they use each gift for the interest of others and not for selfish ambition.

I pray that each person does not get caught up with things, people, and situations. When ever they seem to be pulling away from you Jesus, I pray you bring them back to the fold. Be their good shepard keeping them on the path of righteousness.

I thank you God that you are creating a mighty army of saints here on earth to bring Heaven to those who desperately need to know that they can access to heaven through your son. I thank you for each saint that fearlessly speaks the Gospel so that those who listen may receive access to Heaven..may all the saints simply allow you to lead them in bringing your Kingdom to Earth.

I thank you for all you are doing, and all you are going to do, create a people that falls more in love with you every day. May you be their passion, light, and strength.

May your Grace and Mercy abound in each reader’s heart. Be their consuming fire.

Today…all I want you to do is spend the day just giving God praise, glory and thanks.

Just whatever comes to your mind..thank God for it, the person, the blessing, the goodness, just everything and anything. Just give God glory…and your gratitude.

Put on worship music in your car, on your computer and in your house…fill your environment with the Presence of God..allow the worship just to bring you into God’s dwelling place.

Let go of your worries, anxieties and stresses for a day…and instead just through out the day…thank God for him being in your life. Reflect on the countless blessings he has placed in your life. Thank him for each blessing…and praise him.

Praise God for just who he is, the power he holds, the love he shares with you, and for redeeming you. Just give him your all and all today.

Remember you are the dwelling place of the living God,,,and in scripture when we get caught up in God’s presence all we can do is bow down..and worship him..so worship him today..
