January 19th, 2010Learn how to Trust in the Lord in all things.
Learn to know that God has your best interest at heart.
Learn to realize that all you encounter is intended to draw you closer to the Lord.
Learn to let go of trying to “fix” your situation, sometimes, all God wants you to do is learn how to trust him.
Learn to be still and learn to find your strength in the Lord alone.
He does have your best interest at heart, so lean on him.
Allow the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the Truth of what God’s will is, and ask the spirit to guide you in all Truth.
Simply Trust the Lord,

January 15th, 2010Who are you really? Seriously, take a time out for a moment, are you the same person you present yourself as to others?
When you tell people you are a Christian, does your personal life reflect a person who truly walks closely with the Lord.
Can people see the Fruits of the Spirit in your life? The Fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Or is there any traits of the flesh? The character traits of someone walking in the sinful nature are sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies.
You know we all can have ghosts in our closets, we can all live a dual life, pretending to be Godly, yet living a life that is actually ungodly.
The key is to be real with yourself. Be real with God. God wants you to love him completely with nothing in the flesh in your life. So…do some soul searching. Ask God if there is anything that you are thinking, feeling and/or doing that he disapproves of that he wants to work on with you.
Integrity is a big deal with God. It is being transparent with God and your fellow man. It is truly being available to Love and to be loved.
Integrity is being honest with yourself and others. It is not being afraid to share your areas of weakness and sharing your true self with others.
Integrity is being a testimony of Truth. It is walking in the way of Righteousness, it is putting God’s commands before your own. It is being authentic.
Here is a great scripture verse to hold onto:
1Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4When Christ, who is your[a] life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
5Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. 6Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.[b] 7You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived. 8But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips. 9Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices 10and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. 11Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.
12Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
15Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. 17And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3: 1-15.
Dive into God’s word, spend some serious quiet time with the Lord. Allow Christ to dwell deeply in your heart, invite him to remove anything of the flesh from you, and seek the Lord..repent of your ways.
Remember, every single one of us will need to give an account of how we lived our lives. Live for Christ..and let go of the self, temptations, and be real and authentic.

January 11th, 2010Not sure why God is having me focus on this verse in the bible but he is. “Do not be Deceived” Gal 6:7.
So I am not going to be deceived when Satan attempts to attack me via my self-worth. I am a child of God, loved by my father very much.
I am not going to be deceived when Satan attempts to tell me that “I am not good enough” for in God’s word he says that “My grace is sufficient for you in your weakness.”
I am not going to be deceived when Satan attempts to make me feel “guilty” for doing what I know that God wants me to do.
I am not going to allow Satan to deceive me in believing lies that are said about other people.
I am not going to allow Satan to deceive me by denying Christ in other people. No matter what people say about another person, I will choose to see Christ in them and love them the way Christ loves them.
I am not going to allow Satan to deceive me with getting caught up with feelings. For feelings come and go, but God’s word remains the same.
I am not going to allow Satan to pull me down when my finances are not working out the way I want them to. For in God’s word it says that I am to store up treasures in heaven not on earth. And I am not to worship money but to worship God.
I am going to remain steadfast in my walk with the Lord. I am going to remain alert to the schemes of the devil. I am going to remain in Christ. I am going to draw near to God. I am going to remain humble and serve others unto the Lord. I am going to put on the full armor of God..and allow Christ to dwell and live richly through me.
In addition, you do not be deceived either, when you are being tempted, realize it is not from God. Use discernment, wisdom, and God’s word to keep you on the right path. The enemy can attempt to do anything, so be alert.
Be careful not to fall in the trap of talking unhighly of others behind their backs. Honor one another. Don’t be critical of others. All it does is “puff” yourself up, and seperates you from those whom you are am talking bad about. Don’t talk highly of a person with them, and then turn around and talk crap about them to someone else. Not from God. And it is betraying Christ in the person.
We all fall short and can be deceived, and if you seem to have fallen short and have been deceived, instead of feeling guilty, come clean with God. Ask God to forgive you..repent and allow the Holy Spirit to minister to your heart.

January 7th, 2010Real short and to the point, don’t boast about yourself nor what you have achieved in life so far. Allow others to speak highly of you rather than you speak of yourself.
Often times we can boast about ourselves in order to impress others. We can boast so that we personally feel better than another person. We can simply boast in order to compare ourselves to the rest of the world. All is not good.
Society has a tendency to make us believe we need to “flaunt” ourselves and say to all we meet “look at me“. It is all over television, magazines, and simply in public settings. Just society can compel you to talk alot about you rather than just be under the radar.
The Bible has a different perspective on life. We are called to remain humble, not to boast and just live a quiet life. We are called to lay down our pride, self, ego, self worth at the foot of the cross.
We are called to do things unto the Lord, and if we are blessed with good things we are to give God the credit and the glory in what we receive. So different than Society and the World view of things.
So…the next time you find yourself “boasting” about things and people, stop yourself and don’t say a word. Instead if someone comes in to your path, find interest in what they have been doing, what God has been doing in there lives. Just be an example of Christ whom never boasted about himself just was busy doing the work he was called to do.
Give God the credit in all things, if people want to praise you for what you have been able to do. Let them do so. But remind them, that it was God who allowed the opportunity to take place. Always redirect people back to Christ. It is important.
So the next time you get puffed up..slow down, remember the hard times, the sad times, the trials you have gone through..remember in a blink of an eye what you have done will be over…so whatever you do…allow God to work through you.
I hope this makes sense…bottom line…keep your perspective on Christ..he is the giver of all good gifts, nothing of your own work. It is all about grace…unmerited favor.
Live in Peace and God’s grace, not in works..

January 6th, 2010Today, just pray through out the day.
Be not anxious about anything, but through prayer make your request known unto God. And the Peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your heart and minds in Christ Jesus. Phil 4:7.
That’s it for today…just pray through out the day..make your request known to God…give God the praise and thanksgiving due..and see how the Holy Spirit comes through.

Just embrace today as though it is your last day on earth.
Reflect on things for about 5-10 minutes..and think about what you would want to say to those you love and those you will simply come in contact with.
What are the words you would want to convey to others if you knew Today was the last day of your life. Think about it…what are the words you would want to express.
Next..think about what you would want to do if Today is the last day of your life. Stop and ponder for about 5-10 minutes. What would you want to do that would have a meaningful impact on others.
If you stop and think about what thoughts came across your mind, I bet they are different than thoughts you would be reflecting on if you thought you had plenty of time to live.
The thoughts are usually of love, concern, and encouragement when someone knows that life is coming to a close. And it is one of the best places to have your mind & heart centered.
So with that said…write down your thoughts..all you would want to say and do. And start living the life the Lord called you to live. Stop living for yourself, pride, ego, and the flesh. Instead live in the Spirit, in Love, and being an expression of God’s grace and favor.
Renew your mind…in the Spirit. You don’t know when the Lord is going to call you home, and the best thing is to be in a place with a clear conscience and knowing you have done and said all God had asked of you to do and say. Don’t hold back in doing good. Do it more and more as the Day of the Lord is coming soon.
Live as though you were dying…

Dear God,
Thank you for being so Omni-present in our lives. Thank you that if we simply seek you with all our hearts, minds, and souls we shall find you. I praise you for being so powerful yet so gentle at the same time. You are an awesome God.
I ask Lord on this Saturday, that you reveal yourself in a very special way to every person who I have made contact with. Whether it is through this blog post, Facebook, twitter, someone I have met out in the community, or someone I am in relations with, I ask God you give them an amazing supernatural encounter with you.
So many people question if you really exist and that your are with them. So many people hunger to know that you are available to them. So God I ask that you speak to every heart, and every mind that I have been in contact with. Open their eyes and hears to you Lord Jesus.
May you make yourself known the way you made yourself known to all that we have read about in the Bible. May all come to know you as their personal savior.
Guide and Lead them all on in your ways..in your love..and just fill them with your Peace.
I thank you in advance for what you are going to do in each person’s life that I have had the honor to cross pathes with. May the seeds be planted in every heart..and in your time..grow their faith and love in you.
I leave them all in your hands..in your care..keep them close to you..may they not get distracted with life..get their attention and keep their attention today…

December 5th, 2009We all have Giants in our lives.
Our Giants can be anything, it can be a person, place, or thing.
Whatever the Giant is…it seems overpowering and a conqueror in our lives. Just a Giant that we don’t think we have a chance to fight against.
Most Giants in our lives come across as just that..destroyers who always win their battles. Sometimes we can even just see a Giant and surrender to them.
Yet, in God’s word, we are told repeatedly that the battle belongs to the Lord. The Lord is our Strength. That we are more than Conquerors in Christ Jesus. And nothing can seperate us from the Love of God found in Christ Jesus.
If you are a Child of God..remember that..if you have Christ in your heart, the giants have already been conquerored by the Cross. Satan can maybe taunting you or attempt to place fear in you, but the bottom line is..God has already killed your Giants in your life.
Reflect on that for a second…any Giant you face today, or tomorrow..God has already conquerored them. He has gone before you..sacrificed his life so that you can live in freedom.
So the next time..you get scared and all you can see is a Giant in front of you..remember..to live in Faith…putting your trust in the Lord..and you have won the battle and have killed the Giant.
Satan is always going to attempt to make you focus on the Giant in front of you, opposed to seeing that Christ in you is greater than anything outside of you.
So remember that, a Giant can be anything, a person, place, or thing..yet don’t let Fear control you and don’t think that you wont be able to overcome this obstacle in your way. Instead, be of courage..and face the Giant..through the the Power of God in you.
God is Mighty to Save…
No Giant can ever overcome Christ in you…nothing can seperate you from the Love of God that dwells in you.
